Bestway Cement is Pakistan’s second-largest cement manufacturer, with an annual production capacity of 10.7 million tonnes per annum. The company is listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange in Karachi. Recently, Bestway Cement commissioned its 5th plant site in Mianwali (Punjab), which will increase its annual production capacity to 12.9 million tonnes.

Scope of Chemical Kinetics

Chemical Kinetics supplied pre-treatment for utilities, including the treatment of canal water. This pre-treatment involves sedimentation with a lamella clarifier aided with coagulant and flocculent. Canal water carries a high turbidity value, which requires treatment before entering the RO plant or cooling tower. Chemical Kinetics provided complete civil design, equipment, and on-site installation of the plant. The plant was successfully commissioned in April 2023.
